The only game that I’ve been playing lately is Minecraft.  This is a bit different to most of the games I usually play, as it’s a complete sandbox.  The idea behind Minecraft is so simple, but gives you the ability to let you do whatever you want with the game.

In most of the games I’ve played offline I’ve ended up digging down into the ground, creating mines and exploring natural forming underground cave networks.  Lately I’ve been playing online with a friend who discovered a village generated by the game.  We cleaned up the village, built a wall around it and I built a tower to the top of the world.

I did some exploring today and discovered another village, complete with a church.

While on my travels I found a bug… a squid swimming through the air.

After my travels I took a nice boat ride through at sunset and returned to our lit up village.
